You've been gone for ages and the first thing you do upon returning is give me Mac in kevlar with his shirtsleeves rolled up. Oh, and Flack and Stella, but most importantly Mac.

Honestly, don't ask me, I'm just in one of those 'down' moods where it's almost enjoyable, you know? Listening to depressing music and wallowing in misery, it's quite cathartic sometimes. Anyway, I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite depressing tracks so you can wallow along with me.

Seriously, how did that happen? It's het. I haven't shipped het in God knows how long!

Perhaps it's because I utterly adore Mac and have a raging girl-crush on Stella, so it made sense to whack the two of them together and just ship 'em. Huh.

It is so perfectly apt. It really nails Horatio Caine.

Thank God I didn't watch Miami first. Horatio would have so put me off the whole franchise I'd have never started watched New York, and then I'd have missed out on Mac and Stella and Danny...
